FAQ’s so you know what to expect from the Salt Lake Off-Road & Outdoor Expo!

Are kids charged the same as an adult ticket?

KIDS ARE FREE under the age of 12. We want the whole family to come!

What kind of activities are available for kids?

There will be Face Painting, Balloons and Magic Tricks, Climbing Wall, Blow-up Slide.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, if they are well-behaved and on a leash.

Are there any giveaways I can sign up for?

Yes! Last year we gave away over $50,000 in prizes. Drop your giveaway tickets in the Gas Cans at the SLOREX booth.

How do I get a giveaway ticket?

Every entry ticket you purchase receives a giveaway entry ticket, must at least 18 years of age to win. Get MORE drawing tickets at the SLOREX booth; one giveaway ticket for every $5 you spend on Expo merchandise.

Can I get more giveaway tickets?

Yes, more tickets are available at the SLOREX booth for with purchase of Expo merchandise, must at least 18 years of age to win.

When are the giveaways?

There are three giveaway times; Friday night at 6pm, and Saturday at Noon and 6pm. 

Do I have to be present to win Giveaway prizes?

Yes, you have to be present and at least 18 years of age.

Can I leave the show and come back without paying for entry again?

Yes, if it is the same day and you get you hand stamped, re-entry that day is free. Your handstamp is your re-entry ticket.

Where can I park and is it free?
The parking at Mountain America Expo Center is free. There is also a parking garage on the west side of State Street in the In Contact parking garage. The garage is south of the In Contact office building, and west of Dirty Bird Chicken, at approximately 50 Albion Village Way, Sandy Ut. Follow the signs. Click here for directions!

There is parking across the street at Jordan Commons which can cost $5.

Is there a shuttle from the off-site parking?

Yes, there is a FREE shuttle that runs between the In Contact parking garage and the expo center. The shuttle will run Friday 5PM to 9:30PM and Saturday 9AM to 8:30PM. The shuttle stops at the Expo center on the south end of the building and at the North East corner of the parking garage. 

The shuttle will run continuously and stops approximately every 10 minutes.

Is the expo stroller friendly

Yes, we want the whole family to come! All aisles are 10′ wide.

What restaurants are in the immediate area?

There are several restaurants in Jordan Commons across the street to the North, Cantina Southwestern Grill and Joe’s Crab Shack. Crown Burger is across the street to the West and there are many restaurants a few blocks away on 106th South and State Street. There are also concessions inside the expo.

What can I expect to see there?

There are manufacturers, local and national for Jeep, SxS, ATV and Motorcycle aftermarket parts. You will find local dealers, shops and clubs for your Off-Roading flavor. We also have vendors from supporting industries such as camping supplies, outdoor clothing and trailers. Come find out where to go adventuring and how to make sure we are allowed back next time we want to check out this beautiful state. There are presentations and panels on stage about Off-Roading adventures and knowledgeable people sharing tips and tricks, classes for the DNR Trail Host program and more!
